Free Leonard Peltier!
Native American activist Leonard Peltier has spent well over 45 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Prosecutors and federal agents have admitted they manufactured evidence against him, hid proof of his innocence, presented false testimony obtained through torturous interrogation techniques, ignored court orders, and flat out lied to the jury. People are commonly set free due to a single constitutional violation, but Peltier—innocent and faced with a staggering number of constitutional violations—has yet to receive equal justice. He never received a fair trial. Today we are calling on all his supporters to stand up and let their voices be heard. We hope that each of you will make a video showing your support, and share it with everyone you know, on all your social channels, and then send them to President Biden, in hopes he will grant Leonard Executive Clemency, so that Peltier can return to his family, and spend what little time he has left, as a free man. He has numerous health issues, including heart problems, diabetes, severe dental issues, and a host of other concerns. We can allow him him to die in prison. We need to do everything we can, to see him finally freed, after nearly a half century of wrongful imprisonment. In this video, you will hear from a small sampling of Peltier supporters, including Ani DiFranco, Graham Nash, Peter Coyote, John Desmore (of The Doors), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, AudioSlave, Prophets of Rage), Peter Gabriel, and Ringo Starr (The Beatles). These are just a few of the millions and millions of supporters of Leonard's freedom. Join the long list of supporters, today, and please share this video with everyone you know. "The time is now. The place is here. Let's Free Leonard Peltier!" ~George Bowe Blitch
